One post of Senior Research Fellow (Agronomy/Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Horticulture) is to be filled as per the lCAR guidelines on temporary contractual basis in the Other agency project "Establishment of Agricultural Research Station in Sardar Sarovar Project
Command Area" (B.H. 18023-11) running at Agricultural Research Station, Navsari Agricultural
University, Tanchha, Bharuch-392 025, Gujarat.

Discipline: Agronomy/Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Horticulture

Qualification: Ph.D. or Master degree with 4 years of Bachelor degree

Emoluments: Rs 25000/-+ HRA

Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women

Job profile: The nature of job includes on farm and off farm training/demonstration of improved
technologies to the farmers, analysis of soil samples and other research and extension activities
running at the station

Preference: As the project demands major extension activities, the candidate having driving license
for two wheeler/motorcycle with gear and experience in extension activities will be preferred.


Nature of fellowship: It is full time basis

• List of eligible candidates will be displayed on university website as on 28-06-2017.

• The eligible candidates will have to remain present at Office of Director of Research and Dean
P.G. Studies, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari - 396450 (Gujarat) on 30-06-2017 at
08:30 a.m. along with their original certificates at his/her own cost.

• The above post is purely on temporary and contractual basis and will be from date of joining to 28-
02-2018 or till completion of project whichever will be earlier
